What's New?
Jesters Pacific Northwest
Junior Squash Championships
February 15-17
Thank you,
Monday February, February 11th, 2019 I receive an email from my kids school, cancelled due to snow! For three days I watched the the snow accumulate and the weather get progressively worse for driving, but better for tobogganing for the kids! Finally the temperature lifted and the rain came and people started arriving for the 50th year of the Jesters PNW! In 1969 a young Phil Green, played in the first event and help run that same tournament. There were 40 entries, although who knew that it would grow to be the event we had this weekend.
At the peak we had 215 players on Monday and that number ended up at 201 players by our start Friday Morning at 9:00am. Some people opted out due to weather conditions others had flights cancelled on the Thursday night due to YYJ not being open. There was a flurry of activity on Friday as we rescheduled matches dues to Athletes coming in on morning flights. In the end we got through Friday and the tournament continued.
We had a live stream video up for most of Saturday and Sunday matches. Additionally Phil Green was taking photographs at cedar hill and has a gallery for you to see. Please Visit the links below to see some of the amazing action collected by Phil.

As always, I have the registration open for the Jesters PNW in November, the same weekend as the alberta Jesters. You will find tournament summaries, a selection of photos and upcoming information at the tournament splash page (as I get a chance to update it)
In October of each year I have my juniors vote on the tournament souvenir options. If you would like to be part of the vote for next year, visit in October to have your say.
Thank you
Benjamin Uliana
Tournament Director
